OVERVIEW
VAUX came to George Cosby Studio ahead of launch, seeking a brand identity and rollout that could support their position as an independent development and asset management partner.
Focusing on office refurbishment, redevelopment, and the repositioning of assets for alternative uses, VAUX operates in a space where trust, judgement, and long-term thinking are essential.
The work centred on defining a clear and confident brand presence — one that could communicate credibility from day one, while reflecting the care and precision of VAUX’s approach.
THE CHALLENGE & INSIGHT
The challenge was to express trust without conservatism.
As a newly launched business, VAUX needed to feel established and dependable, but not static or corporate. The brand had to communicate authority and rigour, while remaining contemporary and forward-looking — capable of sitting comfortably across both traditional property contexts and more progressive redevelopment conversations.
The key insight was that trust could be expressed not through familiarity, but through structure and restraint.
By creating a brand world grounded in clarity, consistency, and considered detail, VAUX could signal confidence and professionalism without unnecessary ornamentation.
THE OUTCOME
The resulting brand world is modern, composed, and assured.
A structural visual identity, supported by a refined monochromatic blue palette, balances fresh modernity with elegance and care. The system was designed to translate seamlessly across touchpoints — from digital presence to documents and presentations — ensuring consistency and clarity in day-to-day use.
The outcome is a brand that feels credible and calm from the outset, providing VAUX with the tools to communicate with confidence as they enter the market and grow their portfolio.
